On March 7, 2010 the Moldova Marriage Team sponsored a dinner to honor visiting Member of Parliament Rev. Valeriu Ghiletchi. Missions elder Lewrene Glaser, introduced the program, Dr. Earl Palmer spoke about the Marriage Ministry before Rev. Ghiletchi’s address.
Rev. Ghiletchi talked about the political and economic situation in Moldova and commented on stresses on marriage in Moldova. Rev. Ghiletchi talked about his role in the development of the Marriage Ministry in Moldova and expressed his appreciation for the involvement of NPC and other partner organizations in the ministry, including New Hope International, Alpha Ministries in London, and the Baptist Union in Moldova.
About 50 people participated in the dinner, and several expressed interest in greater involvement in missions and in NPC’s work in Moldova.
